Whooo! Go Canada!

Canada has claimed the World Junior Hockey Championship Gold Medal for the second time in a row. They completely routed the Russians 5-0. To be honest though, I was pretty suprised. Canada has a solid team, but Russia definitely had the better team on paper. Not that it matters now though, there's no doubt that Canada deserves this medal after the way they played.

Finland also beat the Americans 4-2 for the Bronze Medal. This was pretty suprising too, since many had predicted that the US would take home the gold this year. They really had a stacked team, but like the Russians, they just couldn't quite get it together. Both were great games though, very enjoyable to watch.
